Who am I?
I'm MissFit. I'm a programmer who wants to tell the world the story in my head, but I didn't know how until now. I created Lucid, a choice-driven adult visual novel about dreams. I know dreams are not a new concept, but give this one a try. It's more than just dreams. It's about lucid dreaming and our perception of reality.
What is this game about?
Lucid is a game about dreams and how celestial beings called Lunes interact with them. Lunes look exactly like humans, but they interact with dreams in a very curious manner. They could foresee the future and even change their fate through their dreams.
Aside from their special abilities involving dreams, Lunes are also naturally gifted mentally and physically. People in the old days feared them, so they decided to keep their race a secret.
Our story is about a young orphan Lune who is just trying to survive everyday life but will soon discover that life is not as simple for a Lune like him, especially since he doesn't fully know his race or himself. He may already be a Lune, and that alone makes him unique, but he is actually more special than the other Lunes. Let's just say he has a very big advantage in finding a suitable partner in life.

Is there a Discord?Would you be interested in a proof reader? I've noticed numerous mistakes that would probably be better to update in bulk rather than individual posts ^^ ``I haven't caught up to the end of 0.4 just yet, but loving the game so far! Having scenes at the end of the first two chapters felt a bit rushed/out of place, and maybe would have felt better if in a dream rather than irl (that is... if this isn't all one big dream??)
Sometimes the shadows change drastically between talking and listening frames. Everyone is unique and they're all aesthetically pleasing :)

I love this though, I love writing mistakes they have their own sense of comedic value "pigment of my imagination" sorry just reading through comments. Before downloading. Concept sounds awesome, but then yeah saw this comment made me lol. And to be honest be a dream world pigment of my imagination still weirdly fits. If you kinda think about the idea that thoughts and feelings and emotions are usually associated with colours, like red for angry, or yellow/orange for warmth etc.
And sorry again putting my 2 pence in but yeah gave me a laugh and now I'm downloading ๐

Is it a permanent black screen or is it just a flicker? Are the other animations working? What device are you playing on? I haven't encountered this problem yet. I'll look into it the next time I get a chance.
it not permanent its only at the more sexual animations i can take a screen shot of where it starts and ends on the parts if you want
No need for screenshots, but I need to know if you're playing on your phone or pc/laptop. I probably won't be able to get this fixed until the next update since I just released the latest update. I also don't know if this is an isolated case because I haven't heard anyone had this problem. Sorry for this.

I'm stuck in the prisoner interrogation. It just keeps looping because I think I am missing something. Any help is appreciated.
Are you pressing the objection button on the upper right? Press it when he is lying, it'll only appear when he is talking :)
Yes, I am using the button when I know from the story he is lying. Then he says "Am I lying, do you have proof", then it moves to the next question and loops after the last question. I have tried picking no lies, all lies, 2 lies of various combinations but I can't get out of the loop.

You only need to catch him lie once in every interrogation segment (there are only two) . If you clicked the objection button thrice and you're wrong, it'll just restart to that segment. Here's the answers: click the interrogation button when the robber say "I was told to show him the ropes. He's just a newcomer" and for the segment, click the button when he say "They put the blinfold back on after. I was only able to remove it after the whole process, when I was already very far away from their place."
Sorry if it's confusing. I plan to make a walkthrough someday :)

I just finished 0.2 and gawddd it was a masterpiece, there was only one small problem tho.
The part when Mr. Bitch introduced the new transfer student Celeste, there was a typo from Max's dialogue he said "i feel like I know here from somewhere" it was supposed to be her not here.
Maybe it could be "I feel live I've seen her somewhere before" or "Wait is that Celeste? Am i imagining things or am i dreaming again?" Cause y'know he saw Celeste in his lucid dream and he should've remembered her?
Or maybe this has something to do with the next update?

Also i think there was a dialogue from Lucy when "lune" wasn't capitalized plus it's the first world of the dialogue.
I decided to not capitalize it because it is a species name. I'm conflicted on this because you should capitalize race like Asian but not species like human. It's also not an existing word so I can't really search it. I only capitalize it in special cases where it is being talked about. :)

I hope not every animation is like the one in the previews. The moving background, besides being distracting, can be nauseating for some. Please anchor your camera on a fixed POV, not on some body part that's moving.

What a good game, there is no doubt about that, for the first release it is quite well worked. It has good background music, comedy and a very good story. 10/10
